Reflections from Month Two

As I enter into my third month of running this blog, I wanted to take a quick step back to reflect. This blog started with the crazy notion that there were other young professionals out there struggling with money issues and that there were young professionals out there that would actually listen to what I have to say.

February saw the number of views and visitors to the blog triple, with my articles being read hundreds of times by readers all over the world. As it turns out, the desire to achieve financial freedom extends further than just the US. Readers from all but two of the continents (tell your Australian and Antartican friends for next month!) viewed my site. Shout out to Germany, which came in at number two!

I got into my rhythm of writing two articles each week, and branched out into more in-depth topics. I’ve covered topics involving: taxes, investing, budgets, retirement and having the right attitude. I’ve also learned to get better at checking spelling and grammar! (Work in progress).

Look forward to March having more interesting topics. I plan to explore ways to increase your income and discuss more big ticket purchases (homes and cars). I’m also putting the final touches on what I’m calling a “Personalized Financial Consultation” and hope to unveil that new service this month. The goal of that is to provide my readers with a one on one look at their own financial situation. We’ll discuss your goals and set steps to get there. Stay tuned!

I’m humbled daily by my readers. Your positive (and negative) comments continue to encourage me and help me become a better blogger. I feel so blessed to be in this position, able to do what I really enjoy: helping people.

As always, please reach out to me at: youngmoneyfinance@yahoo.com with any questions, concerns or ideas for new posts! I love hearing from my readers!

Moving forward, I continue to rely on you to help make this a success. Please, please continue to spread the word. Consider tweeting or sharing my posts on your Twitter and Facebook page. I’ll be forever grateful if you do! With your help, we’ll continue to help young professionals achieve financial freedom!

Your partner on this journey to financial freedom,

-Ben
