Follow-Us Friday

Follow-Us Friday

Hello! I hope your week is going well, and Happy Friday! I wanted to do a little bit of a shameless plug for my blog and all the avenues that you can connect with us. I’ve been blogging for 6 years now and have done over 300 posts, covering everything from credit cards to student loan debt to bank accounts to free travel to investments, all kinds of topics! I’m so proud of the work I’ve done, and also all the engagement I’ve had with readers. I LOVE hearing from readers and engaging with them, whether on social media, comments on the blog, or via email.

I’ve been doing a lot of posting recently (paternity leave is awesome) and wanted to hit pause on new finance topics to make you aware of all the great resources I have on the site and make sure you’re aware of all the ways you can engage with us. I would love to continue the trend of more readers and am hoping that you can help!

Subscribe to this blog via email

I get it, we’re busy. YoungMoneyFinance is probably one of ten blogs that you try to keep up with, and sometimes it’s hard! Well, did you know that you can subscribe to the blog via email on the right side of the website? You just put your email in and you’ll automatically get posts delivered to your inbox, and can stay up to date without leaving your email. No spam, no other emails, just posts delivered to you.

Follow Us on Facebook

I’ve got a lot of fun, witty, insightful comments and thoughts on personal finance, both from my own life and from what I see online. I can’t post it all on the blog, and so I engage via the Facebook page with more content. How about giving us a follow on Facebook?

Follow Us on Twitter

So much good content, thoughts, and information on Twitter. I love interacting with other financial minds as well as readers. I promise lots of helpful thoughts and articles (both mine and others) on my Twitter page. How about giving us a follow on Twitter?

Contact us via email

As I mentioned, I love hearing from readers, whether with nice words to say (which are my favorite things to hear), ideas for blogs posts, or even with a finance question. Head over to the Contact Us section of the site and drop us a note!

It’s a bit hidden away but I’ve put together a few guides on various personal finance topics. What I found was that there’s so muchinformation out there on personal finance topics that it’s tough to get your question answered or get real help. So, I created YMF Guides, which have ‘all the information you need without the stuff you don’t’. Easy to read and understand with actionable steps to take. Whether you’re looking to buy a house, save for retirement, have a general checklist of where you should be financially or understand the basics of Personal Finance (i.e. 101), I hope these guides will be helpful for you. You may have missed it so I wanted to call it out here.

Tell your friends

I know that not everyone is like me and talks a lot about personal finance. You and your friends probably talk about: restaurants, movies, sports, even politics before personal finance. I’d love to change that, as financial literacy is a huge need in our world today, especially amongst young professionals. Would you consider telling a friend about the site, maybe a friend that could use the help? Maybe send them a link to our Helpful Articles page to get them started

Post on FB/Twitter

Read an article you like? Think someone else might as well? Perhaps just feeling in a sharing mood? If so, how about sharing it on your social media channels? It’s super easy to do, just by clicking the button on the left side:

There you have it! I would love it if you helped us out by completing all 7 requests, but I’ll take 1 or 2! Probably the easiest would be following us on Twitter or Facebook
